A Brazilian Butt Lift or BBL for short is the grafting of the fat from the mid section of the body, with Lipo 360, to the buttocks. Fat from areas like the stomach, waist, back and lower back, but it can also come from the thighs, or other areas if the surgeon sees it fit. The Fat will be extracted, processed, and re-injected into your buttocks to enhance the shape and size. The procedure does not involve implants.

Any person with excess fat who wants to reshape and enhance the shape and size of the buttock is initially a good candidate. BBL results after 6 months are, by and large,  permanent. Initially when your own fat is re-injected, it looks fuller because after the initial swelling goes down around 80% of the fat grafts survive. However, you need to maintain a stable weight afterwards. Weight gain and weight loss affect the BBL results because it is ultimately your own fat.

After surgery you need to wear your compression garments as instructed by your surgeon or his team, schedule lymphatic massage appointments to get rid of the fluid retention, maintain a healthy diet, stay active and move and overall avoid putting pressure on the buttocks (avoid sitting on your butt for at least 8 weeks) and use your booty pillow appropriately.
